Cardholders will be able to use the Abra Crypto Card to earn crypto back on ANY purchase category and amount. The crypto rewards will be tradable across over 100 different cryptocurrencies supported by Abra with no annual or foreign transaction fees. What is a Crypto Card?

A crypto card allows you to spend cryptocurrency from your crypto wallet when you pay for purchases online or at a point of sale. The card converts a selected cryptocurrency in your digital wallet (such as Bitcoin) into fiat currency (such as Canadian dollars) based on the current market crypto-fiat prices.

Is the Brex card a 'Crypto Card'?

What qualifies the Brex Card as a “crypto card,” at least in spirit, is the novel ability to exchange rewards points for cryptocurrency. On its own, the Brex Card is a compelling choice for startups and entrepreneurs since it offers free ACH transfers and wires worldwide, complimentary expense tracking, no fees, and high credit limits out the door.

Does American Express have a crypto rewards credit card?

Fintech companies Brex, Venmo and SoFi all also offer their own crypto rewards credit cards. American Express was cautious about entering this market, but the Abra card is likely a precursor to more crypto-related products for the company.
